Naranasan na ba ninyong tanggalan ng suwero o ng tahi ng surgery? Masakit dahil nakakabit sa ating katawan. Kaya huwag nating pinababayaang kumapit ang kasalanan.

Kung napakalalim ng kapit nyan na parang talaba, sasama pati laman nyo pag tinanggal yan ng Panginoon. So don’t get attached. And if you were foolish to attach to anything, don’t get too attached to sin. It will be extremely painful pag tinanggal yan.

Kung anak tayo ng Dios, kahit pitong taon na nyang pinayagan na may kumabit na mga talaba dyan, tatanggalin din nya yan. Huwag akalain na tatanggapin tayo ng Lord sa presence nya na may nakakabit na talaba sa atin. Kung ang sin natin ay self-importance, tatanggalin nya ang self-importance na yan. Kung ang sin natin ay isang illicit relationship or an immoral one, matatanggal yan. Hindi tayo dapat kumakapit sa kasalanan dahil masakit pag tinanggal ito sa atin.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Since God loves you so much, you should also love other people that God loves as well. Kung mahal ka ng Dios, di mahal din nya ang malapit sayo, yung malayu-layo, yung hindi mo gustong tao. Mahal din siguro nya pati kaaway mo. Ano ang ibig sabihin nito? Kung ang Dios ay mapagmahal at ginawa ang lahat para mahalin ang tao, may pananagutan din tayong maging mapagmahal sa isa’t isa. We must pass love on.

Everybody is important. Mamuhay tayo at mag-aral tayong mamuhay nang may pagpapahalaga sa kapwa. May pagpapahalaga sa kanilang oras at damdamin. Hindi yung ini-impose ang gusto natin para lumuwag ang ating loob pero sumikip naman ang loob ng iba. May mga taong selfish. Magawa lang ang kanilang kagustuhan hindi bale nang mabigo ang iba. So, let us graduate to the highest form of spirituality. Treat other people the way God treats them and the way God would treat them. Dapat lumampas na tayo sa sobrang, “I, me, myself.”

May mga taong sobrang mapagmahal sa iba pero wala na silang itinitira sa sarili. Nagpapakamartir kahit hindi kailangan. Nagiging unfaithful ka rin sa Dios kung hindi mo minamahal ang sarili. Maraming mga tao na sa paghahabol ng pag-ibig ay nagkakawala-wala na ang dignity masunod lang ang pintig ng puso. May panahong dapat tinitimpi yan para maigalang natin ang ating mga sarili at maturuan natin ang iba na igalang tayo. Mahalin ang iba—ang kapwa. Pero mahalin din ang sarili. Dapat parehong mahal.

Luke 16:10-11
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?”

Sinabi ng Panginoon, mag-ipon tayo ng kayamanan sa langit. How do we gather up treasures in heaven? By service or ministry to the Lord. Ang iba’y hindi nabibigyan ng opportunity to serve and gather up true treasures dahil ang treasure nila ay small time—pera! Pahiram lang ng Dios. Dinadaya pa ang Dios.

Kung yung pag-aari ng Dios ay hindi mo inalagaan, paano ka bibigyan ng Dios ng wealth in eternity? If you cannot handle a hundred pesos well, you can never handle a million. Madalas nating marinig, “Yumaman lang ako magdo-donate ako, tutulong ako.” Itaga nyo sa bato, hindi tutulong yang mga yan kahit yumaman! Konti nga lang ang pera nya, hindi siya nagbibigay, pag dumami pa kaya? If you are not faithful with little, you will never be faithful with much. If you cannot handle money, you cannot handle that which is truly valuable. At ano ang tunay na valuable? A ministry for the Lord.

If you have not been faithful with God’s money as a steward, do you think God will give you your own effective ministry? Can God trust you with your own ministry? God must see that he can trust you with his money. You start there. Sasabihin natin, ano ang kinalaman ng pera sa ministry? Malaki. Kasi ang attitude ang lumalabas dyan. Yan ang nabibisto.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms.

Ang tunay nating pakikibaka ay hindi laban sa kapwa tao at sa mga pwersang pisikal kundi laban sa mga espiritu at mga pwersang espirituwal. Halimbawa, hindi mo puedeng giyerahin physically ang isang napakasungit na tao. Hindi uubrang susungitan mo rin siya o ikakadena kaya. Ang dapat na gawin, pupunta ka sa spiritual world through your spirit and your spirituality at lalabanan mo yung espiritu nya o yung espiritung nagpapagalaw sa kanya.

Kasi pag nanalo ka na sa spiritual level, susunod yung physical level. Paano mo lalabanan physically ang obsession with sex? Dudukutin mo ba ang iyong mata? Itatali mo ang iyong sarili? Naroon pa rin yung obsession kahit bulag ka na. Magkakaroon ka pa rin ng pagnanasa. Kaya ang kailangan, umakyat ka sa spiritual world at bunutin mo yung mga spiritual problems.

Find the spiritual cause of your being a loser. You need to be renewed spiritually first before you are also renewed physically and materially. You have to have a new lease on life, a fresh blank page on which you can start writing good things.

How do you do that? Surrender your sinful nature and your sinful tendencies. Be cured by the blood of the Lord. Accept the forgiveness that God offers through the cross of Christ. Receive the grace of God. Live by the word of God and its principles until you develop spiritual habits that can change your actual lifestyle.

Joshua 24:15
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Why does serving the Lord give peace to the family? It takes away many minor troubles because service to God overshadows them.  When you are committed to a cause bigger than your daily life, even your daily problems will become small. The only reason why little things become big is because of the absence of bigger things. In the absence of big things, small things become big to small minds.

Ang mga pamilya kasi na walang malaking cause na inaatupag, yung maliit na bagay pinapalaki. Ang pinagkakaabalahan ay mga walang kabagay-bagay, walang kakwenta-kwenta, mga mahahaba at magugulong drama.  Kaya nga napakasayang makita ang mag-anak na naglilingkod sa Dios. Sabay-sabay na sumisimba, kanya-kanyang ministry sa church, malalaking bagay ang mga pinagkakaabalahan. Ang nangyayari tuloy, lumiliit lahat ang mga bagay na normally ay ginagawang problema ng iba. Ang resulta, higit na sumasaya at pumapayapa ang pamilya.

Happy families know, obey, and love God. Happy families apply God’s word correctly. Happy families use God’s word to liberate, not to dominate or manipulate or exploit each other.
