MALAKING BAGAY

John 2:1-2
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.

We have to participate in people’s time and space and lives. Para sa mga pastor, these occasions happen nearly every day or every week. To reinvent its freshness and find joy in it is a great challenge.

Napakahalaga that we don’t miss out on such things. We attend because we want to give to people. By just being there, you’re saying, ‘’You’re important to me.’’ Yung iba naman iwas nang iwas. ‘’Magreregalo pa tayo, huwag na tayong pumunta.’’ But it’s important to be there kahit man lang tula o card yung ibinigay nyo, to share a milestone in people’s lives.

People don’t remember who delivered the greatest speeches.

Greatness is not about inventing and re-inventing the wheel, nor about building the pyramids of Egypt. Greatness is composed of little acts of kindness in daily life. This is what matters the most. There are those who need it more than others in very special times.

PERFECT O FREE WILL?

Ephesians 5:17
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

God has a perfect will for us and God also gave us free will. Our disagreement with God’s will is directly proportionate to what will not happen in our lives according to God’s plan.

Parang magulang. Meron tayong perfect will for our children. What is that?

Will nung anak ang nangyari. Eto ngayon, iiyak-iyak. Susumbong-sumbong.

Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.”

Remember God while you’re young. So yung iba gusto pang magsisi.

In later years you will be burdened with troubles and say, “I don’t enjoy life anymore.” Parang wala na yatang sarap at saya sa buhay. Puro na lang hirap. Remember God before you grow old. Remember God before you die. These are good times to remember God. Not only when you are in danger. Not only when you are needy. Not only when you are desperate. But in good times, in times of prosperity and strength, in times of happiness and joy, in times of victory, freshness and freedom.

MASARAP TAMAAN

Proverbs 9:8
Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you.

The Lord gives that. Why? Because the Lord loves the church. He likes the church to be always edified and strengthened. Kung kailangang pagalitan, di pagalitan. Masarap tamaan ng pagtutuwid ng Dios.

Expect this in the church because Jesus is the head of the church and he is the Shepherd. Pag lumiliko-liko ka, ibabalik ka nya.

THORN IN THE FLESH

2 Corinthians 12:7
To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.

Paul was a very special man. Sobra!

He had the best of both worlds: an Israelite pedigree and a Roman citizenship which enabled him to go anywhere and everywhere unhindered by borders and visa requirements. May kaya.

Siguro may panganib. Kasi when everything is okay parang text message ang dasal natin sa iksi.
