Ecclesiastes 10:5-7
There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler; fools are put in many high positions while the rich occupy the low ones. I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves.

What is unfair or unjust governance? Eto yung kawalan ng katarungan ng isang namumuno o isang may kapangyarihan. One is honoring fools. Binibigyan mo ng parangal yung mga taong hangal dahil siguro paborito mo o kamag-anak mo. Masama yon.

To dishonor the rich. Bakit rich? It is wrong to dishonor those who are intelligent, productive and have self-restraint. Kung kayo nasa opisina sinong pino-promote nyo? Yun bang magagaling o yung mga kabarkada nyo? It is evil. Inaagawan nyo yung mga taong dapat tumanggap.

What else is unjust?

Don’t play favorites. Don’t give what people do not deserve. Do not steal from Peter to give to John. Mahalaga na there is justice in our dealings.

THE NEED TO BE STRONG

 2 Samuel 10:12

‘’Be strong and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God…’’

Our patriotism is not for sale.’’ Nag-inggles siya sa mga Kano! Matibay! May prinsipyo because she didn’t want to fail the memory of her great son and her great family.

Christians, be strong because people depend on us. We cannot fail our church or our country. Hindi tayo nabubuhay para lang sa sarili. Napakahalaga na tayo’y malakas.

P.S. While we strive to be strong, let us leave room for other people’s weakness and occarional fall. Let’s be strict to ourselves but kind and understanding to others.

KURIPOT?

Proverbs 11:24

One man gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

Ang mga kuripot daw, naghihirap. Sasabihin pa, “E kaya nga ako nagkukuripot kasi mahirap lang ako.” Baligtarin ninyo. Kaya kayo naghihirap kasi kuripot kayo. Tumalon kayo dyan. Kapag ang pagiging kuripot ang prinsipyong pinaiiral natin, you will become poor or remain poor.

Matthew 25:16
The man who receives the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.

God gives money but we make it grow through our God-given gift, hard work and honesty. Money is to be invested, not just spent.

God loves seeing money being multiplied. In-invest, pinuhunan, pinalago at naging times five.

What else should we do? We should make more money that we need, because surplus money is to be made for sharing. Why? Because the Lord loves to multiply blessings.

TATLO KAYO

Malachi 2:14

…the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.

Three parties are involved in marriage: the man, the woman, and God, represented by the officiating minister or the fiscal which represents the government, which represents God. It is a covenant, not a contract.

It is a covenant where God is a partner.
