Exodus 20:9
“Six days you shall labor and do all your work…and on the seventh day, you shall rest.”

Nakalimutan yung first half of the command na “Six days you shall labor.” If you are not working six days a week, you are breaking God’s law and you sin. Utos ng Dios na tayo ay magtrabaho. Sino dyan ang mga pasarap-sarap sa buhay, patamad-tamad? Magsisi! Mahiya!

Kung nag-aalaga tayo ng katawan at maingat tayo sa kinakain, then we will probably still produce wealth up to our last days.

Ito ang dahilan why we should keep on learning. Learn a new trade, a new craft, a new vocation.

Pag sinabing “gather for yourselves treasures in heaven” it doesn’t mean that you don’t make treasures here. It means you glorify the Lord with your treasures on earth. You invest correctly. You finance the Lord’s work. You give to the poor. This is how you gather for yourselves treasures in heaven.
