Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you—
May mga tao na hindi dapat pinakikinggan dahil lulungkot lang kayo. There are also things that you should not listen to or hear even from people that you listen to. Listening to what everyone says is useless.
May mga taong magbabalita,
“Naku, meron hong nagko-complain tungkol sa ating Bible study.”
“Ilan ba yung uma-attend sa Bible study?”
“Dalawampu.”
“E ilan yung nagko-complain?”
“Isa ho.”
“E hayaan mo na, charge it to statistics.”
Alangan namang lahat ng twenty naging happy, sobrang perfect naman. Laging may hindi happy dyan. Ngayon, kung may labingsiyam na nagrereklamo, makinig ka na.
When people live together, some will smile and some will frown. But you need not mind them. Travel on as best you can, take them as you find them. But don’t change your ways, your plans or your life every time one person complains.
Kasi kung papakinggan nyo lahat ng tao para kayong hilong talilong na kung saan kayo ipaling doon kayo haharap. Lalo na sa leadership, not everyone will be happy. Kung pinakinggan nyong lahat, mababaliw kayo. You cannot please everybody.
Hindi naman ibig sabihin nito na yung mga masama nating ugali ay hindi na natin papalitan at yung mga kakulangan natin ay hindi na natin pupunan. If you have already done your best at hindi pa rin kasya yan sa tao, problema na nila yon. You are living to attain the fullest potential of what God gave you in the first place. What is important is what God says about you.
