Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

We should be set free not only from material poverty but also from poverty mentality. Why? Because we are children of the King.

Yung sobrang takot na takot sa gutom, takot na takot mawalan, takot na takot na walang pera—that is poverty mentality. Why? Lagi silang nag-aalala not having enough provision.

Papaano natin malalamang meron tayong excessive fear of want? Sa pagbibigay, halimbawa, masyado tayong kuripot. When you give to the church, kokonti. “Ay, aba! Be practical. Paano na tayo bukas? Kanya-kanyang kayod talaga yan!”

You only have to have the rich mentality. Rich in the Lord, believing that the Lord will provide.

Many people are not able to let God prove himself because they depend on themselves too much. It’s not wrong to work and use all of our resources to be productive. But on top of it all, we should only be really dependent on God.
