Philippians 3:13-14
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Most of our insecurities come from our past, a past that cannot be retrieved, a past that cannot return, a past that is lost forever. Kalimutan na natin yan. Look up to the Lord and look to the future.

Hindi ko na inaalala yung mga mistakes ko noon. I have learned a lot from them. But I look forward to the many churches that will be planted. I look forward to the many souls that will be saved. I look forward to that wonderful Christian service. Kung tayo ay service-oriented, we won’t be very insecure. When you are busy ministering to the needs of others, you forget your own; and this has therapeutic effects.

Marami siguro sa atin ay may mga lihim sa buhay na ikinakatakot nating mabunyag kung patapos na ang lahat. But if God can forget, why can’t we? If God can forgive us, why can’t we forgive ourselves and others? One thing is sure. Jesus Christ is perfect and we can put on his perfection as much as we can put on his holiness. When God looks at us, he says, “Perfect, beautiful, holy saint” because we hide behind the blood of Jesus. So live as spiritually perfect people in the eyes of God. And then when we come face to face with God, we will assume full perfection through the ministry of Christ in us.
