But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.
What does this mean? Marriage makes available what immorality offers. In other words, the marriage bed must offer everything that immorality offers and that will make immorality less enchanting and less interesting.
Why do many people get into immorality? Perhaps because the marriage bed does not offer enough sensuality. Kaya ang nangyayari, naghahanap pa ng kaligayahan ang husband or wife sa ibang kandungan. Marriage was instituted by the Lord so that married people will have no more occasion and excuse to be immoral. Marriage must offer every sensual thing that the world offers and everything is honorable in the marriage bed.
The New Testament and the Old Testament tell us that the husbands and the wives have the divine duty to fill each other’s needs. There should be no refusal because the body of the wife belongs to the husband and the body of the husband to the wife. This is a very, very important teaching. If you are going to refuse each other, it should only be for a short time and only if you have agreed to devote your time to prayer, fasting and spiritual activities. But then again, it must not be long and the Bible says, “You must come together again so that Satan will not tempt you.”
If a husband and a wife are both very happy in their intimate life together, there will be very little room for temptation because their needs are met. Iba na ang satisfied.
