DO GOOD NA LANG

Proverbs 20:22

Don’t try to get even. Trust the LORD, and he will help you.

Huwag gantihan ng masama ang masama, dahil gagantihan ka nya uli ng mas masama and you will never get out of this cycle. But break the cycle of evil will and bad relationship with something good, and then you start something good. You cannot change people you dislike? Turn them into people that you could like by doing something good to them. Change yourself. It’s a lot easier. You can do it with God’s help.        

When you do good to people, you begin to dislike them less and less. You will begin to even like them. That’s why the prescription of the Lord is, gumawa ka nang mabuti sa hindi gumagawa nang mabuti sa iyo. Malaki ang pagkakataong sila’y magbago at bumuti sa iyo. At kung hindi man sila magbago sa paggawa mo nang mabuti sa kanila, ikaw ang mababago. Magsisimula kang magkaroon ng simpatiya, ng amor, ng malasakit hanggang mamahal mo na yung tao. Doing good to others changes them. But, more than that, it changes you.

Sabi nga ng Panginoon, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Binibigyan nya tayo ng ganitong payo para tayo papanalunin.   And in the game of life, we know that only love wins, hatred always loses. You might be able to do violent things against people you hate, but at the end of the day, you’re still a loser. You will be filled with guilt, have more enemies and less friends, and your world will become smaller. So doing good is good for them and for you.
