My child, use common sense and sound judgment! Always keep them in mind.
The presumption here is that we know the difference between good and bad. Seldom are we going to be surprised na “Ay, yun pala ang tama at ito ang mali!” Most of the time we really know what is good and what is bad; we just neglect sound judgment. Minsan sinasadya nating maging reckless, padalus-dalos at careless.
Sino ba ang madalas na maligaw? Hindi ba yung mga hindi marunong mag-preserve ng sound judgment and who surround themselves with people who insist on making them do the wrong things? Evil company ruins morals. Kadalasan kahit alam na alam na natin kung ano ang tama, pag lagi tayong nakakarinig ng kabilang opinyon, nababaluktot rin ang ating pananaw. Nagiging manhid tayo sa tama at nagagawa natin ang mali. We need to be refreshed on what is right.
Dapat tayong nakikipag-usap at nakikibarkada sa mga tama ang takbo ng utak. Dapat na pinipili natin kung sino ang sinasamahan. Dapat bantayan din natin ang sarili sa mga pinanonood na mga pelikula, sa mga binabasang literature na masyadong post-modern ang approach, kasi madami sa mga modernong pag-iisip ang nag-aadvertise that crime pays. Ang mga ending ng mga fiction ngayon, bad people are having a field day!
Kaya dapat tayo laging nag-iingat in order to preserve our better judgment. Fight for it if we must because the world system will want it taken away from us.
