Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.
Bawat isa ay binigyan ng Dios ng natatanging kakayahan para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. Kung natutukso tayong mag-isip that we are nothing because many people make us feel that way, dapat nating malaman na tayo ay unique. In the congregation, the fellowship, or the body of believers, everyone is needed. You are called for the good of the community. You have a purpose, a role to play, and a space to fill. If you are a part of a church and you are absent, you are cheating the church and yourself. Why? Because you are needed.
Parang ngipin yan. Pag mayroong isang bakanteng ngipin dahil bungi, ano ang nangyayari sa ibang mga ngipin? Humahapay, humihiga, nag-uurungan kaya nagkakabungi-bungi yung buong gilagid. Dahil wala yung isang ngipin, lumuluwag at walang nasasandalan yung ibang mga ngipin. Ganoon din sa church. Bawat isang member ay mayroong kakayanan, kaya dapat nandoon siya. Kapag wala ang isa, dinadaya nya ang lahat dahil yung gift na ibinigay sa kanya ay hindi nya maipaglingkod. Dinadaya nya ang kanyang sarili dahil yung gift na ibinigay sa iba ay hindi nya napakikinabangan. “E bakit umaandar naman ang church kahit wala ako?” Kahit naman iisa lang yung ngipin ng tao, nakakakain pa rin siya, di ba? Pero ano naman ang quality ng chewing para lalong madaling ma-digest ang pagkain? Mababa.
When we serve one another, the collective quality of our spirituality or our walk with God, even of our earthly life, improves.
