Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Why do we experience humiliation? “Anak ako ng Dios pero bakit ako nakakaranas na ma-humiliate? Bakit ako napapahiya?” Hindi ba balancing act lamang yon dahil the Lord works in perfect balance? Pag nagpa-negative ka na, itinataas ka nang ganun. Pag nagpa-positive ka masyado, ibababa ka para ma-level off.
Tuwing nakakaranas tayo na ma-humiliate, isipin natin, “Ano kaya ang aking pagmamataas at nababalanse ako through this?” Humiliation can be a great blessing if it teaches us not to be proud. Avoid being humbled in a painful way by volunteering to be humble. Anyone who is intelligent enough cannot be proud. Only the foolish are proud because they’re the only ones who think they are great. If we have God’s wisdom, then we would know we are nothing apart from him.
Avoid being humbled the painful way. Lumagay tayo sa tamang lugar dahil masakit pag kinakawit ng pastol ang tupa na lumalayo sa linya. Liko ang dulo ng kahoy na hawak ng pastol. Kung ayaw nating masaktan, huwag na tayong umalis at masakit ibalik.
Tandaan natin: Jesus is Lord. Siya ang masusunod, hindi tayo. Kung nakakapanginain tayo sandali ng mga bunga ng kasalanan at pagkakamali, hindi yon magtatagal. Alam ng Panginoon ang nangyayari at hindi nya ito maaaring patagalin. Kung tayo’y nanginginain at tayo’y matinong tupa, bitawan na ang kagat-kagat na busal at bumalik na sa linya! Huwag nang hintayin na hinahampas at kinakadena pa tayo na para lang maalis doon. Huwag magmatigas; hindi naman tayo makakapangyari.
