2 Kings 2:23-24.

Elisha left and headed toward Bethel. Along the way some boys started making fun of him by shouting, “Go away, baldy! Get out of here!” Elisha turned around and stared at the boys. Then he cursed them in the name of the LORD. At once two bears ran out of the words and ripped to pieces 42 of the boys.

Ano nga bang ginawa ng mga kabataan? They jeered the man of God, unaware of who he was, on the basis of his looks: “Hoy! Kalbo! Kalbo!” Hindi pa siya bihasa on the finer points of the prophetic ministry. He called down a curse on them, then two bears came out of the woods and mauled all forty-two youths–a very cruel act done in the name of God.

“Bakit ganun? Mga bata lang sila. Grabe naman ang ganti!” It is doubtful if this was God’s perfect will. “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm” (1 Chronicles 16:22).
