Pag marunong kang magbitaw ng salita, magiging kapalagayang-loob mo ang sinuman. Pero kung hindi ka marunong magkorte ng salita, yung konti mong kaibigan ay mawawala pa. So speak well in form. Ang grammar or vocabulary, voice or tone, the length and brevity of our words, the accessibility and clarity–lahat yan mahalaga.
Speak well, not only in form but also in spirit. Pag nagsalita ka, dapat nakinabang ang nakinig, na-edify siya, natuto, naliwanagan, at gumaan, hindi bumigat, ang pakiramdam. May integrity dapat ang ating pagsasalita, hindi naninirang-puri, nakakapagpaliwanag tayo at masaya tayong kasama. May mga taong nakakatakot kumustahin kasi ang isasagot nila sa iyo ay isang buong encyclopedia o ikukwento sa iyo ang sakit ng lahat ng angkan nila isa-isa. Dapat alam din natin kung kailan magsasalita o hindi, gaano kahaba o kaigsi yung sagot para huwag tayong kapaguran ng mga tao.
Nakakaengganyong makinig sa Panginoong Hesus. Malinaw siyang magsalita. Gumamit siya ng lengguwaheng naiintindihan ng karaniwang tao. Hindi siya gumamit ng mga high-sounding theological phrases o mga academic discourses. At maganda siyang manalita. Pag nagbibigay siya ng halimbawa tungkol sa mga ibong lumilipad, mga bulaklak na namumukadkad, humahalimuyak na mga halaman, parang nandoon ka mismo. At walang nasayang na salita ang Panginoon. Laging relevant, may kabuluhan, at nakabubuti.
