SAME GOD, SAME STRENGTH

Deuteronomy 31:23
The LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”

This was the secret of Joshua’s strength—God was with him. Si Joshua ay katulad lang naman natin na tao. Kung sinasamahan siya ng Dios, e di tayo rin. Kung may ipinapapasok siyang tao kay Joshua sa Promised Land, e di sa atin rin. Tulad din tayo ni Joshua na inuutusan nya. Sabi ng Lord, “Dalhin mo ang biyenan mo into the promised land of salvation. Dalhin mo ang asawa mo, yung anak mo, yung kaibigan mo. Ikaw ang magturo.”

Binibigyan din tayo ng Lord ng same strength because we’re given the same assignment. Iba lang ang casting, props at setting. Iba lang ang pangalan but it’s the same God, the same work, and the same people. We have to bring people into the Promised Land because a lot of them are in the wilderness. In fact, many of them are still in Egypt and are being plagued there. They have to be brought out through the desert into the Promised Land. We are Joshuas. We should bring people to church, to Bible studies para sila man ay makalaya at mag-enjoy sa land that’s flowing with milk and honey.
