Magbibigay ka ba sa nangangailangan o sa karapat-dapat? Kung sinong anak ang masipag, yun pa ang pinipitasan para ibigay sa anak na batugan. Yung anak na nagpapakatino, yun pa ang laging binabakalan at dinidilehensiyahan para makabili ng drugs at tubusin sa kulungan yung anak na bangagista. Minsan mayroon tayong mga pamangkin o anak na pinag-aaral pero ayaw mag-aral. Ang dami-daming nauubos na pera samantalang may mga kabataang nagtatrabaho at nagpapakahirap, makapag-aral lang. Parang naglalagay ng tubig sa baldeng butás na tapon nang tapon, tulo nang tulo, hindi naman mapuno-puno kasi bulagsak. Bigay ka nang bigay ng buo mong sweldo, wala namang nabili kundi rollers ng buhok. Sampung taóng nag-Saudi, ang nabili lang ng asawa ay isang plantsang umiinit pa yung hawakan. Tama ba’t makatuwiran ito?
Kailangang may bunga ang ibinibigay sa atin. Pag pinagtitiwalaan tayo, may napapala, hindi nadadala, yung nagtiwala. Reward the deserving. Dispossess the undeserving. Those who multiply God’s capital receive increase in profit from the Lord. Christian ideals teach giving to the poor, helpless, and needy. But that is all they get–immediate relief, pamatid-gutom. Hindi ka aahon sa kahirapan, aasenso o giginhawa kung hingi ka lang nang hingi. Kailangan ng sipag at husay ang tao upang magkaroon ng mga biyaya.
Parehong itinuturo ng Biblia ang pagkandili sa mga kapuspalad at ang pagbibigay ng gantimpala sa mga nagsisikap. Kung paano natin ito ia-apply sa ating daily life, doon natin kailangan ng wisdom.
