PROXY

1 Peter 2:24

Christ carried the burden of our sins. He was nailed to the cross, so that we would stop sinning and start living right. By his cuts and bruises you are healed.

Kung napili kang maging sponsor sa isang kasal at hindi ka makakarating, nagpapadala ka ng proxy. Kung mayroong isang mahalagang pulong na hindi mo rin mapuntahan, nagpapadala ka ng kinatawan. Ganito rin ang Panginoong Hesus sa atin. Siya ang ating proxy at kinatawan. May kaparusahang nakaabang sa mga nagkakasala. Ano ang ginawa ng Panginoon? He took upon himself the punishment that we should have received. He took our place and died on the cross for us. Kaya lahat ng taong mananalig sa kanya, nagkakaroon ng exchange. What exchange? When you accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, you are actually giving him your sins. Because he now carries your sins in him, he dies for you instead. In return, he gives you his life. So your death you give to him. His life he gives to you.

Hindi tayo ang naparusahan at nagkasugat. Siya ang nagkalatay. Siya ang sinibat. Siya ang kinoronahan ng tinik. Siya ang ipinako sa krus. Siya ang namatay. All of those, he did in our stead.   That is why Jesus is Savior. Can he pay for all of us? Yes! Because he is God, the value of his life is greater than the value of all life that lived, are living, and will still be born. There is no one else who has that quality and qualification.
