Philippians 3:13
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

The only way we can be freed of the past and from the hold of all the negative things in it is to forgive and forget, and then to look forward. The faster we learn to forgive, the better. The happiest people on earth are those who always forgive and forget.

Sometimes you get hurt in a love affair and you say, “Never again.” You should never say never again. Mahirap yun. Learn to trust. Live life again, although a bit wiser the second time around. Learn to be wise, but not to the point that being wise becomes an oppressive master and a solitary prison. Totoong mahirap magtiwala kaya mag-ingat na lang. Pero huwag magduda nang sobra. Baka wala ka nang ma-enjoy sa buhay.
