Deuteronomy 8:17

When you become successful, don’t say, “I’m rich, and I’ve earned it all myself.” Instead, remember that the LORD your God gives you the strength to make a living.

Do not develop the habit of asking, borrowing and begging. It’s not God’s style. You ask, beg or borrow only in the few moments of your life when you are too ill, too unfit, or too unfortunate to make a living.

Kung magtagumpay man, huwag sabihing, “Self-made ako e.” Real success gives credit and glory to God. God gives strength to make a living and to earn. Many beggars when blessed by God, became well and stopped begging. It is a weakness to have to depend on others, a weakness that will make you beg.
