Proverbs 18:2

Fools have no desire to learn; they would much rather give their own opinions.

Do not always outtalk and outsmart people. Nobody will like you. In other words, do not be tactless and rude. Hintayin mong hingin. O kung gusto mong i-volunteer, make sure it is well-timed and the words are well-chosen. Avoid preempting people. So huwag tayong mangunguna.

It will keep you from so much trouble if you only know how to hold your tongue. Matutong magtimpi. And then give people their five-second fame. May nagpapasikat,

“May bahay ako sa Camella Homes.”

“Aba, ang bahay ko sa BF Executives.

Tinabunan mo na siya. Hayaan mo siya, it’s her moment. Maghanap ka ng ibang moment mo, but let people shine if they want to.

Do not embarrass people by constantly correcting them in public.

Correction is good but it should not be done in public whenever it could wait. Masarap at tama na mag-correct sa tamang lugar. Spare the dignity of the person that you like to correct.
