BREAK THE CYCLE

Proverbs 20:22

Don’t try to get even. Trust the LORD, and he will help you.

When dealing with people you hate, try to change them positively with the power of God and with the power of your own love. Turn them into people you could like by changing your mind about them. They are not likable, alright, but why don’t you change your mind about them and teach yourself to like them and to find things that you could like about them?

You can do this by doing something good to them. People have spirits, we have souls, we react to good things being done to us. Huwag gumanti sa masama. Huwag gantihan ng masama ang masama dahil gagantihan ka nya uli ng mas masama and you will never get out of this cycle. But break the cycle of evil will and bad relationship with something good. When you start doing good to people, you begin to dislike them less and less. You even begin to like them more and more. This is why the Lord prescribes na gumawa ka ng mabuti sa hindi gumagawa ng mabuti sa iyo. Malaki ang pagkakataong sila’y magbago at bumuti sa iyo. At kung hindi man sila magbago sa paggawa mo ng mabuti sa kanila, ikaw ang mababago. Doing good to others changes them, but more than that, it changes you. Magsisimula kang magkaroon ng simpatiya, magkakaroon ka ng amor, magkakaroon ka ng malasakit hanggang mamahalin mo na yung tao.
