If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
Pag may problema tayo at sinasabi nating, “Hindi ko alam ang solusyon,” only one thing can be said of us: Hindi tayo nagdarasal, at kung nagdarasal man tayo, hindi tayo nagdadasal enough. According to James, if we lack wisdom, we should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault. Kaya kung wala tayong wisdom, kasalanan natin. Ang mga Christian dapat punung-puno ng wisdom to the point where they can exclaim, “May problema ako, but, wow! Heto nga pala ang solusyon!”
Sometimes it takes a day, a week or a month for the solution to come pero nandyan. Kung hindi natin alam ang gagawin, manalangin tayo ng kahit pitong oras. Pitong oras? Aba, may mga tao nga na nakakaiyak ng pitong oras, namumroblema ng pitong oras, naglalasing ng pitong oras pero hindi makapag-pray ng pitong oras.
Kaya nga ang kabobohan ay kasalanan. Bakit? Kasi hindi ipinanalangin. Wala dapat Kristianong hindi matalino. Kasi pag wala kang wisdom, ibig sabihin hindi ka humihingi. Ganun lang yung logic. It’s a crime not to have wisdom because that means you are not praying for it.
At sabi, papaano daw ibinibigay? Generously. May problema bang walang solusyon? Pero bakit hindi natin makuha? Kasi hindi hinihingi. Minsan, ang hinihingi natin ay approval lang sa mga pansarili nating solusyon. Hintayin natin kung ano ang tamang solusyong galing sa Dios. Dapat nating tandaan na ang salita ng Dios ay hindi dekorasyon. Totoo ito. Pray for wisdom.
