Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

There is one terribly neglected area wherein we should be strong. That is the area of prayer, of praying for one another.

A family can be physically, financially, socially and politically strong, but if it is not spiritually strong, it will fall apart.

If there is no spiritual strength, everything will be wasted. Only spiritual brokenness causes families to fall apart. In fact, the stronger the family is spiritually speaking, mas lalo silang binibigyan ng mga pagsubok at pinahihirapan sa buhay, kaya lalo silang nagkakapit-kapit at nagyayakap-yakap.

Para dumali ang trabaho ni Satan in destroying the world, he destroys the family. Spiritual strength is our only defense against all the attacks of the evil one against the family.

If you want a strong, solid, cohesive and happy family, prayer is still the best, if not the only, real solution. Sabi sa Bible, we do not fight with flesh and blood but with powers in the air. It is through prayer that we strengthen our spiritual foundation. Talagang prayer pa rin ang the best.

SINO ANG BINIBIGYAN

Daniel 2:20, 21
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning…”

In his prayer, Daniel asked for mercy and God responded. Parang tennis game ito. The Lord served the ball, problema. During that night, God revealed the mystery to Daniel in a vision. The Lord gave him the dream and the bonus—the interpretation of the dream.

To the wise. But those who seek knowledge and wisdom ay laging binibigyan ng Lord.

Kung hindi tayo wise at discerning, we should stop that cycle and break into the good cycle of the Lord.

PRAYER OR ANNOUNCEMENT

Matthew 6:7-8
“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.”

Then you can go to prayer, “Lord, pagpalain mo po ang aking kapatid at ang mga gustong tumulong sa kanya. Bigyan nyo po kami ng kakayahan. Amen.”

Mas matatawag pa ngang performance for the sake of the audience-prayer partners.

We shouldn’t pray to inform God because God knows. We don’t even need long and detailed prayers. They do not know God as their loving Father.

PEACE AND QUIET

Mark 6:31-32
Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.

Let’s have some moments to ourselves.” Namangka pa sila at lumayo para manahimik.

That’s why one of the best gifts we can give to people, especially those in public life and those who minister to a lot of people, is the gift of peace and quiet.

If you have to deal with so many people throughout the day, then you need to have some quiet time alone.

HELP

Matthew 25:40
The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Those who are unkind and uncharitable cannot and should not laugh.
